Install Safe Exam Browser

  1. Check that your computer meets the recommended computer requirements.
  2. Ensure you have full administrator permissions to your PC or laptop. If you don't have it, please contact your local IT support. 
  3. Please note that this installation can take up to 10 minutes however installation time may vary depending on your computer specification.

Installation Instructions for Windows 10


Watch the following tutorial video to the completion and follow the steps below:

   

Step 1: Download the  SAFE EXAM BROWSER (SEB) INSTALLER for your exam (This may be different for each college/school)



Step 2: Unzip the downloaded SAFE EXAM BROWSER INSTALLER.ZIP file.

Open the ZIP file and "Extract All" to a new location. E.g your Desktop


Step 3: Double Click on the newly created unzipped folder.

(Tip: Make sure you are opening the extracted folder and not the ZIP file, see below)



Step 4:  Double Click the Exam_Browser_Installer file and follow the prompts (review the video again for prompts) and wait till the completion. 




Step 5: Before launching the "Exam Launch File", make a note of your Exam login details as you will have no access to the internet once you launch the file.

Step 6. Watch this video to understand how to Take Practice Exams.

Step 7. Double click on the Exam Launch file to head into the Exam environment.
